Chessington is launching four new rides this year including one featuring Elmer the elephant
CHESSINGTON World of Adventures has announced that it's launching two new wildlife-themed attractions this year.
The theme park is opening a new Rainforest land as well as a ride inspired by Elmer the elephant.
The Rainforest is the 11th land to open in the theme park and is inspired by its work with the conservation charity World Land Trust (WLT).
It will feature three separate rides, all aimed at educating the park's young guests about the importance of saving the world's rainforests.
There's Jungle Rangers, a driving ride where guests can explore rainforests from around the world by road.
River Rafts is a mini log flume ride where kids get to see the forests by water.
And finally, from the treetop canopy attraction Treetop Hoppers, they will be able to spot animals like tortoises and capybaras.
Chessington is also getting its first ride inspired by Elmer the patchwork elephant.
Elmer's Flying Jumbos is an aerial carousel ride featuring different coloured elephants.
Kids will be able to soar over the forests while sitting in their favourite elephant.
hasn't confirmed the exact opening date of the new attractions yet, but said they will be launching in 2020.
Tickets cost £29.50 if you book online before you go.
