Warning for Brits as dozens are barred from boarding flights to Greece because of confusing coronavirus forms
BRITISH tourists are still being stopped from boarding their flights to Greece due to problems with the new entry requirements.
Greece currently requires all UK travellers to fill in a Passenger Locator Form at least 24 hours before travelling.
They are then sent a QR code must be shown upon arrival, with €500 fines for anyone without one.
However, many are claiming they didn't receive their QR code, or it wasn't made clear who needed to fill the documents in.
The UK Foreign Office states one form is allowed per family, as long as all of the names are on the documents, but also states airlines have different policies, with some needing one form per person.
EasyJet passenger Karoki Lewis claimed the forms didn't let her fill in more than two people despite travelling with her family.
"No logical explanation, no help, no refund. NOTHING. This wasn’t a leisure trip - my Greek uncle passed away. So, A LOT of psychological damage was caused. Awful."
Louise Eardly added: "The PLF for Greece doesn't let you add more than 2 people. The form states you must verify you will only be submitting one form per household.
"Removed from flight today as we filled out form for family, was not given option to add children. NOT CLEAR!"
What are the current travel restrictions for Greece?

- There are no quarantine restrictions when entering Greece or returning to the UK
- Brits need to fill in a Passenger Locator Form (PLF) at least 24 hours before travelling
- Failing to show your QR code could see you being turned away or fined
- Random testing is also in operation - which may result in a period of self-isolation if testing positive
Another added: "Well this is concerning. To travel to Greece you needed to fill in a PLF form, then receive a QR code and documents the day before travel.
"I filled in the form and had the confirmation email. But no QR code etc today."
Many airlines also appear to be confused with the guidelines - Wizz Air was forced to apologise after kicking off 28 passengers for not filling in their middle name, despite it being optional.
The Greek embassy in London said they were aware of "limited problems" but that airlines are not interpreting the rules correctly.
A spokesperson told the BBC: "Sometimes the airlines are asking for different codes for each passenger. Only one form per family is needed."
An easyJet spokesperson said they must ensure all passengers have "a completed health declaration form" to be able to board.

Last month, a group of tourists were fined €500 (£453) after arriving in Greece without the new passenger locator forms, claiming their airline didn't inform them of them.
