London’s new sex, scandal and sodomy tour could be right up your street
SEX and scandal are two things most of us probably haven’t been thinking about much during lockdown – especially during this summer’s heatwave.
But a new tour promises to change all that, and you won’t have to leave the country and risk getting caught in quarantine either.
Imagine Experience’s Sex, Scandal And Sodomy tour (suitable for adults only, in case you hadn’t guessed) will show you London’s West End as you have never seen it before.
And we’ll bet you will never see it the same way again, either.
A team of sexperts takes you on a no-holding-back history walk from Green Park to Covent Garden via scandalous Soho.
Along the way you will learn all about the city’s brothels, secret underground scene and masquerade parties from the past.
Get your pulse racing with salacious stories from Gentleman Jack and his fellow guides – you will probably discover a thing or two about the capital’s saucy sex trade secrets as well.
Flamboyant Lenard Pink leads the way as you take in the sights strolling through London’s hidden streets and dodgy alleyways. But believe me, this X-rated tour isn’t one for prudes.
If you would rather not pass a sex toy around Piccadilly Circus, discuss prostitution with your new pals or hear the word “SODOMY” screamed at regular intervals, you had better stay at home.
The tour, though incredibly cheesy and extremely silly at times, was laugh-out-loud fun and very entertaining.
And you must be prepared for heads to turn as you stroll through the city with an entourage of dressed-up entertainers in full corsets and tails.
The tour is nearly four hours long, so make sure to bring your walking shoes.
And if you want to venture out when it is warm – we were there on the hottest day of the year – you will need to slap on the suncream and whip out the lace fans too.
Thankfully, it ended with the most delicious cheese toastie I’ve ever had the pleasure to taste.
After working up an appetite on your tour, you’ll be treated to drinks and snacks at charming Covent Garden bar Grays and Feather, which also happens to be Charles Dickens’ former office.
Learn some of the art of seduction techniques with the rest of your entourage.
Then sip on delicious Victorian gin punch cocktails into the evening to recover from the long walk (made with an extra-large helping of gin, just like they were in 18th-century London).
Sex, Scandal And Sodomy promises to be a hilarious hen-do bash, but do check with mum first if she can handle the smut.
