The newest attraction is the Haunted Lighthouse Halloween Show at Heartlake City, with spooky songs and dances performed.

The popular Brick and Treat Trail is also back, where kids have to find Monster Rockers hidden Halloween Surprises, as well as the Haunted House Monster Party Ride with Lord Vampyre.

Parents can download the Legoland app to help solve the clues, and get a goody bag from Lord Vampyre's Butler, which includes a mini Lego pumpkin to build at home.

Guests can also walk through the Enchanted Forest as well as greet Lego characters including werewolves, mummies and vampires.

Hannah Ratcliffe, Head of Entertainment at LEGOLAND Windsor said: “We’re really excited to bring Brick or Treat back to LEGOLAND Windsor this Halloween. It’s one of our favourite times of year as we give the entire Resort a suitably spooky makeover."

Other spooky theme park events this year include Scarefest at Alton Towers and Fright Night at Thorpe Park.

Many of the parks have new Covid safety procedures in place as well.

At Legoland, new protocols which have to be followed by guests include:

  • Pre-booking mandatory, including annual pass holders
  • Temperature checks at the gates
  • Paying using contactless cards only, not cash
  • Carrying a face mask which may required in certain areas
  • Less seating and limited capacity at restaurants and cafes to enable social distancing
  • More takeaway options for food and drink service
  • Rows left empty between families on rides to enable social distancing
  • Additional hygiene stations across the park

Operations Director, Karen Glassey previously said: "As you’d expect, a day out or overnight stay at Legoland Windsor will feel a little different from before.

"You’ll be used to a lot of the new measures, such as social distancing in queues and being encouraged to use cards rather than cash, as these have become the new normal when visiting supermarkets and other shops."

Here are some other theme park deals for the October half term you can make the most of.
