BRITS who had planned to go on a staycation with their friends and family have had their plans destroyed by the government's new Covid restrictions.
From Monday, more than six people are no longer allowed to meet up.
The new rules have already led to families cancelling their group bookings, as home owners and tour operators seeing a wave of calls and queries about their future plans.
The rules, which still allow six people from any household, as well as one household up to six to meet, has resulted in more chaos for the travel industry, which saw the staycation trend boom.
