Inside the new £50m Cornwall hotel in the UK’s ‘most haunted building’ – opening in February
YOU can now stay at the UK's "most haunted building" as a former jail is to open as a hotel in Cornwall.
The Bodmin Jail Hotel is to welcome guests from February 2021 - where you will be staying inside the former cells
Following a £50m renovation, the new hotel keeps many of the features of the 18th century prison.
The bedrooms have been created using three of the former cells combined, with lavish ensuite bathrooms inside.
Options include Classic Rooms and Family Rooms, as well as the Governor’s bedrooms which have access to the private Executive Lounge.
Take your dog along too - they offer dog-friendly getaways with pets being given beds, treats as well as breakfast.
Other famous UK prisons you can tour include Shepton Mallet Prison, which once housed the Kray Twins.
Here are some of the other jails you can visit or stay in across the UK.
You can even eat in a prison in Brixton, where you are served by current inmates.
