August seaside holiday stays in the UK including Kent & Norfolk from £74 – following Boris’s lockdown announcement
THE Prime Minister has announced that holidays in England can go ahead from April 12, if coronavirus cases continue to go down.
Interest is expected to surge in English seaside breaks following the announcement, with pent up demand from millions of Brits who've been banned from all travel since the beginning of the year.
From April 12, people from the same household will be able to book self-contained holiday lets such as holiday homes, and from May 17 group
From May 17, hotels are allowed to reopen and holiday homes can be let to groups of up to six people from different households or groups from two households with no cap on size.
From June 21, holiday homes can be let to groups of all sizes
However, dates for the relaxation of rules are not set in stone. Holidays will only happen on the condition that coronavirus cases continue to fall and vaccines still roll out at pace.

Back in January The Health Secretary Matt Hancock said Brits should be able to enjoy a "happy and free Great British summer" once most adults have received the Covid jab.
And despite the restrictions, a number of Brits booked holidays in the UK earlier in the year.

This led to holiday companies predicting a sell-out summer of staycations as bookings surged.
Cottages, lodges and holiday parks all saw price rises as demand increased. In fact, some families have even been put on waiting lists for Cornwall.
