The holiday destinations giving tourists FREE vaccines when they arrive
THE UK'S vaccination drive is one of the best in the world, with 48 per cent given the first dose.
However, some countries are even offering to give the vaccine to tourists on arrival - great news for Brits who are yet to be given the jab.
Ten million Brits have now been given the second Covid jab, meaning one in five adults are now fully protected, although many younger adults are yet to be given their first jab.
Israel is the leading country for the vaccine rollout with nearly 62 per cent given the first jab, while the US is close behind the UK with 35 per cent.
Gibraltar was one of the first nations to offer the first jab to the entire adult population, with 97 per cent now vaccinated.
Along with Malta, currently at 43 per cent given the first jab, all of the countries with a high vaccine rollout are expected to be on the UK's green list when it is announced, allowing quarantine-free travel.
If you want to get the jab a bit sooner, here are the countries currently offering the vaccine to tourists on arrival.
Maldives
The popular holiday destination will offer tourists free vaccines by the summer.
The country's tourism minister Abdulla Mausoom confirmed that this would be rolled out as soon as the entire population is given both jabs.
He said: "I don’t think supply’s a problem in Maldives because our population is relatively small.
"The quota we get from the various organisations and friendly nations also will help."
An official start date is to be confirmed, as well as whether the jabs will cost.
Currently, 53 per cent of the 530,000 population in the Maldives have been given the first dose, with less than 100 new infections on average per day.
Alaska
The US state of Alaska has confirmed that all tourists will be able to get the vaccine from June.
This includes both domestic and international travellers, governor Mike Dunleavy confirmed, who arrive at one of four airports - Anchorage, Juneau, Ketchikan and Fairbank.
He said during a press conference: "If you come to Alaska, you get a free vaccination if you want one."
The state is one of the leading states in the US for the vaccine rollout, with 47 per cent given the first dose, while 40 per cent are fully vaccinated.
The UK remains on the US travel ban list still, although there are hopes a travel corridor could reopen travel between the two countries by the summer.

Holidays abroad have not been given an official start date by the UK government, although is hope a limited number of destinations could open from May 17.
