Flight attendant’s bizarre and unhygienic trolley service routine goes viral
A FLIGHT attendant has divided opinion for their rather unusual way of serving people food during a flight.
A video captures crew sliding snacks down the aisle of a plane - leaving passengers to try and grab them as they fly past.
The video, posted on Reddit, was titled: "Flight crew slides snacks while the plane is taking off, if you can catch it, you can keep it."
In the video, yellow snack bags are slid down the aisle floor, which zoom to the back while passengers snatch them from the floor.
Some loved the idea of it.
One person said: "I think this would actually be pretty fun, airplanes are so stiff and uptight ... I love seeing the fun flight attendants!
Another Reddit user wrote: "I had this happen to me once on a Southwest flight; the crew was fun!"
But others weren't so sure.
One person commented: "Just think of all the shoes that just walked on that area and where they have recently been. Standing in front of a urinal, for starters. Ew."
Others noticed that it only benefited people in the aisles and at the front, saying "Back row gets a lot I bet."
Another person wrote: "Would suck to be on the window seat."
Lots of people noticed one woman trying to grab all of the packages.
One person wrote: "I’m trying to give her the benefit of the doubt and assume she’s passing them to the people sitting next to her but yeah my gut reaction was 'dang lady why do you have to grab them all?'"
It's not even the first time it has happened - back in 2020, passengers on Southwest Airlines were slid snacks after the flight only had 29 passengers on board.
And in 2018, staff on a delayed easyJet flight held a loo roll race between the two sides of the plane, with the team quickest to unravel an unbroken roll down the cabin winning free snacks or drinks.
