Ryanair passenger claims cheap Primark buy saves her loads on hand luggage costs
A SAVVY traveller has revealed a budget Primark buy is saving her money on Ryanair hand luggage fees.
TikTok user Nicole Baskerville shared a video detailing her hack to avoid paying the extra baggage fee when flying with the popular Irish airline.
The travel enthusiast said: “You know with Ryanair you now have to pay for extra baggage and you literally just get free handbag. Well, this is your handbag.”
She revealed a red Minnie Mouse suitcase packed with her items.
She said: “I got this in Penneys and it's a kids' suitcase. It’s the smallest one I could find. And it fits into the compartment, it fits under the seat. And voila - it fits so much.

“I have a jacket. I have heels. I have a few pairs of clothes. I have all my toiletries. It's actually massive.
“I felt like I had a full suitcase full of clothes… and this is my handbag.”
She continued: “I got this one in Penneys. It’s a Minnie Mouse one so it was €35 but there was no other suitcase that was smaller.”
The bag has also been spotted in UK Primark stores as recently as last month, for £35.
One follower said: “Omg have you gotten on with this? My tote bag felt too big and I was nervous walking by them boarding.”
When flying with Ryanair, two cabin bags as priority cost between £8 - £30 when booked online.
A 10kg check-in bag costs between £12.99 - £23.99 if prebooked.
If charged at the airport, it can cost £23.99 - £35.99.
And a TikToker has claimed to get around the strict baggage rules by taking a pillow stuffed with clothes on a flight alongside her rucksack.
She isn't the first traveller to try this trick with Ryanair.
