Woman divides opinion after slamming kids’ behaviour following long haul flight
A WOMAN slammed a young boy for his rude behaviour after a flight - and has divided opinion over how she reacted.
The 23-year-old woman said she was waiting at baggage claim after a long flight when the incident occurred.
She explained that there was a child, around 10 years old, who was skateboarding around the area.
She continued: "He kept getting in people’s way but nobody said anything until the little brat ran into me.
"He knocked me over and it hurt really badly and they said nothing.
"I was furious so as another man was helping me up I look at his parents and said very sarcastically, 'good decision. I think letting him ride a skateboard inside in a crowded room was a great choice. A+.'

"The mom started getting in my face and yelling at me and her husband pulls her away and they go to the other side of the baggage carousel."
The woman finished by saying she was usually a "very passive people pleaser" so wasn't sure if she should have said anything, but was left with a number of bruises by the incident.
She asked on social media if she was justified in her reaction to the parents.
Some people raised concerns about her response and how she handled the situation.

One person wrote: "I understand your anger, especially since the parents did not help you or apologize. I would just offer to be careful because we see how absurd people are in the world today. I get you, but personal safety first."

However, the majority were on her side, saying she definitely should have called it out.
Someone commented: "What you said was spot on and absolutely justified. I don't see how that woman could have yelled ANYTHING that could have put them in the right."
Another person wrote: "You showed an incredible amount of restraint IMO -- people allowing their children to run around like wild dogs deserve to be pointed out.
And a third said: "I’m a parent. I’d be horrified if my kid did that, and I wouldn’t let them in the first place because I’d take their damn board away if they even tried it."
