The 551ft craft, owned by company Scenic Group, was built in Croatia and first launched in 2018.

However, it was in service for just months before being anchored during the pandemic.

Sailing trips on the world's poshest cruiser resumed at the beginning of this year.

The vessel has made a stop in the south-west today as it travels to Bergen in Norway.

The weather in Cornwall today is much more cheerful than guests are likely to expect when they stop off in the Arctic.

The 228 passengers were greeted by blue skies and beaming sunshine as they boarded this morning.

Guests aboard the cruise are enjoying some of the most luxurious additions any holiday can offer.

Each of the whopping suites boasts its own private veranda and lounge area.

Balconies are fitted with a button that transforms them into all-weather conservatories.

Every guest will also be allocated a butler.

In an even more extravagant twist, the ship has two Eurocopter helicopters on board.

For an extra fee, visitors heading to the Med can fly over Mount Etna, while those on a southern voyage - which costs from £16,200 - could see Antarctica from the air.

The liner also carries a seven person crewed submersible, Scenic Neptune, which is capable of diving to depths of up to 300 metres.

Those who like to stay fit on holiday can visit the spa, gym, yoga studio, or one of two swimming pools.

And guests who'd rather eat and drink their way around the world can visit the nine restaurants and eight lounges and bars.

There's even a theatre, excursion centre and library.

Owners describe holidays aboard as "true all-inclusive".
