IF you're in the market for a new suitcase, you might want to do your research before buying.
Experts have revealed the big mistake people make with their luggage - and it could mean it gets lost.
While a black suitcase may seem chic, it is also the hardest to identify.
Instead, you should opt for a brightly coloured one so you can find it easier - or so staff can spot it amongst the other bags.
Frankfurt Airport boss Stefan Schulte even warned travellers to avoid black suitcases after the airport has struggled with baggage, similar to the problems at Heathrow.
He said it was "hard to distinguish them from each other” with an airport spokesperson adding: “Many people travel with black suitcases on wheels which makes identifying them very time-intensive.”

They wrote: "If your bag is over 55lbs, it's gonna have a bad time. How annoyed do you get lifting your own bag into the back of the car?
"Imagine have to do that 200 times - it gets frustrating and tiresome and sometimes we just throw with very little care because they are too heavy to do carefully."
