I love going away but selfish holidaymakers ruined my break with annoying poolside habit
A MUM has been left fuming on her holiday in France by "ignorant and selfish" Brits who were reserving sun loungers at the campsite she was staying.
The woman asked on Mumsnet if she should complain, or if she was in the wrong for being annoyed.
She wrote: "Am in France on a lovely campsite.
"There are a particular group of Brits that go up the pool every morning, put their bloody stuff on about 10 loungers and then periodically pop up maybe twice in the day.
"I was there for a few hours today & saw people sitting on the floor as these loungers had stuff on them but no people.
She said it was "so ignorant and selfish," adding: "It’s giving me the rage.

"Said people are noisy, playing loud music too and are a bunch of rude inconsiderate w******.
"Today they were also playing really loud rave music by their caravans because everyone on the campsite needs to hear it."
She asked if she would be in the wrong to complain to reception, but everyone was on her side.
One person said: "I'd just move all their belongings off and sit myself down."

A third agreed: "I’m shameless. If I go down there in the morning and there’s no bum on the sun lounger then I move it and sit down."
Sun lounger wars have long been a think for resorts popular with Brits.
A recent video caught holidaymakers making a mad dash for their sun loungers at a Spanish holiday resort at 6am as sunbed wars restart ahead of the summer season.

At some hotels, Brits have resorted to lying their towels on the ground at 5am - even though they can't reserve the sunbeds until 9am - to make sure they are first in line.
