I’m a flight attendant – here is the dirtiest part of the plane that EVERYONE uses
A FLIGHT attendant has revealed the dirtiest part of the plane that everyone uses - and it isn't the toilet.
The flight attendant who goes by the name Flightbae.B on TikTok explained the gross secret in her latest video.
And if you use the pocket on the back of the seat for your valuables, you aren't in luck.
She explained: "Did you know that seatback pockets are actually the dirtiest surface on the aircraft?
"They're dirtier than the lavatories, they're dirtier than the seat cushion, and they're dirtier than the tray tables. Let me tell you why.
"It's because they are never cleaned".

"Unless somebody vomits or there is something ooey or gooey in there, it doesn't get cleaned.
"All cleaners do is go in and take out the trash.
"So all of those germs have accumulated and there is no regular cleaning of those surfaces, whereas the lavatories are regularly wiped down and sanitised."
The video has been watched more than 20,000 times.
People were left stunned - one person said: "I usually put my phone there."
Another said: "Never touching it again."
A third agreed: "I didn’t need to know this. I fly a lot. Ugh."
Others had their own horror stories: "This is very true! I once saw a parent place a used diaper in the seat back pocket."
Someone else commented: "I’ll always see people their feet in them."
Other flight attendants agreed as well.
Flight attendant Beth Windsor has worked on planes for more than a decade said: "I've still come across countless dirty diapers and underwear in the compartment. So, think twice before storing any food in there."
And a cabin crew employee, who goes by the name HausOfDarling on Reddit, added: "I have pulled out and seen all sorts been pulled out from there.
“Dirty tissues, sick bags, knickers, socks, finger and toenails, gum, half sucked sweets, apple cores, peoples feet..."
