The new European capital that Brits can travel to by train – famous for beer, nightclubs and edgy art

BRITS will soon be able to reach one of Europe's trendiest cities by train.

The German capital city of Berlin is famous for its beers, non-stop nightclubs and politically edgy art that covers buildings and city walls.

Brits looking to explore the Brandenburg Gate, East Side Gallery or one of the capital's many museums or monuments would've previously had to fly into the city's international airport.

But a new sleeper train service departing from Brussels will give Brits the option of reaching Berlin by train in just one day.

European Sleeper, a train company that specialises in sleeper services, will be launching the eagerly-awaited overnight train later this year.

The new route will see passengers board the service in Brussels before travelling onto Amsterdam and Rotterdam.

Passengers will then arrive in Berlin in the morning where they'll be ready and rested to explore the city.

Brits looking to take the Berlin-bound sleeper train will be able to board a connecting train at London St Pancras International.

According to , Brits can board the 15:04 train from the London station and arrive in Brussels in time to change onto the sleeper train.

Three trains will run between Brussels and Berlin each week with tickets starting at €49 (£43) per person for a one-way journey.

All guests will be given a free breakfast, with a coffee, as well as complimentary Wi-Fi when on the train.

The Good Night Train will be welcoming passengers onboard from May 25.

Tickets for the new sleeper service will go on sale on February 20, and can be purchased .

Germany isn't the only European country that Brits can reach using flight-free links.
