The popular free airport luggage service being brought back by Jet2holidays in time for this summer
Jet2holidays has announced the return of its popular hotel bag check-in service at certain resorts this summer.
The innovative system makes things much simpler for holidaymakers on their last day in their resorts.
The free service allows customers to check-in their bags at the hotel
in the morning on their day of departure, leaving them bag-free for
the rest of the day and at the airport.
Customers simply drop their bags off securely with the
specialist resort flight check-in team at their hotel, and the
bags are then safely transported to the airport and stowed onto the aircraft.
The tour operator is relaunching the smart service in more than 50 hotels initially in Cyprus in time for Summer 23.
It will be available to holidaymakers in selected resorts in Paphos and Larnaca from the end of April, meaning some customers will once again be able to benefit from using it, making their last day bag-free.
This gives travellers time to enjoy themselves at the hotel on the last day of their holiday without having to carry suitcases around.
Plus, they can simply go straight through to security at the airport without needing to check any luggage in.
Jet2holidays first launched the service in 2016, when it proved very popular with hoildaymakers.
This year will see it return for the first time, after it was temporarily stopped because of the pandemic.

Earlier this month Jet2holidays revealed some money-saving tricks for families to use when planning trips this year.
They include booking early to spread costs and going all-inclusive among others.
They also recommend inviting grandparents, as it could help cut the cost of a villa and means there are more people to keep an eye on the kids.
Jet2holidays has also launched all-inclusive beach holidays from £479pp in June and July.
