IF you hate flying but love travelling, you're in luck - as more railways are linking the UK to European hotspots.
The long-established routes have grown in popularity in recent years and have made Italy accessible for Brit holidaymakers who aren't keen on flying.
Brits who want to head abroad without catching a plane can board Eurostar services from London St Pancras International.
The London station connects the UK with destinations in France, the Netherlands, and Belgium.
But for those passengers who are willing to change onto a second train, travelling to Italy is a breeze.

From there, passengers can then board a connecting service to Turin at Paris Gare de Lyon after taking a short hop on the metro.
A train journey from Paris to Turin takes just under six hours with tickets starting at €29 (£25).
If Turin doesn't appeal to holidaymakers, passengers can stay on the same train for an additional 70 minutes to arrive in Milan.
One-way tickets for Milan start at €29 (£25) with the best prices being snapped up around three months in advance.

And next year will see even more rail links connecting the UK with Italy after a train company announced several new routes.
French train company has confirmed plans to launch train routes from Paris to Milan and Venice next year.
Holidaymakers who want to travel to Venice from the UK currently need to change trains at several European stations.
But the new routes will make train travel from the UK to Europe even more accessible.
The same company also confirmed additional routes will launch from Edinburgh too.
These won't be the only exciting new train routes in Europe that Brits can take advantage of in the future.
