The 5* is a sprawling resort right on the seafront.
There’s plenty of rooms here, which keeps prices relatively low - and it’s one of the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice hotels for 2022.

Families will love the kids’ club and play area while adults can spend time in the spa or try activities such as tennis and canoeing (off site).

Be.HOTEL Malta
The 4* in St Julian’s is one of the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice hotels for 2022.
The design-led property is close to lots of shops and restaurants, as well as the sandy beach at St George’s Bay.

Adults will love the nightlife in the area but there’s also a playground and children’s TV channels for the kids.

Hotel Juliani
For a boutique hotel stay, try the 4* in St Julian, where there are just 47 rooms.
It’s definitely one for the grown ups, with the spa offering couples’ massages.

The Westin Dragonara Resort
The 5* is right by the sea with access to its own beach area.
Those travelling with children will love the fact that kids get to stay for free here and there’s a kids’ club and entertainment programmes to keep them busy.
For the more adventurous, the hotel can also organise diving trips or hire bikes to explore the area.

Solana Hotel and Spa
Base yourself at the 4* to explore Mellieha in the north of Malta.
Landmarks such as Our Lady of the Grotto and Popeye Village are all close by, and it’s a short taxi ride to the ferry terminal for Gozo.
The hotel itself has a rooftop pool and offers evening entertainment as well as an indoor play area for kids.

AX The Palace
is a boutique 5* hotel in Sliema, a coastal town between St Julian’s and Valletta.
It’s a quieter resort compared to its neighbours but there are still plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
The rooftop pool with views of the bay at sunset is a highlight here but there’s also a spa with a sauna.

Hilton Malta
The 5* in St Julian’s offers fabulous views - all of the rooms and suites either face the Mediterranean sea or the Portomaso Yacht Marina.

It’s ideal for couples as all of the nightlife of St Julian’s is close by as well.

Inspired by the roaring 20s, the 4* is ideal for couples.
It has its own beach club with pools and loungers as well as a luxurious spa offering a range of treatments.

115 The Strand Hotel by NEU Collective
The 3* has a great view of Valletta from its seafront location in Sliema.
Its outdoor pool with plenty of lounger space is perfect for those looking to top up their tan but it also makes a great base for exploring the town.
The hotel is near to the ferry terminal for those who want to visit Valletta without getting a cab.

The Gomerino Hotel
If you’re keen to be based in the capital Valletta, try the 4* .
The boutique property is a bit pricier but has stunning views of the Three Cities across the harbour.
All of the city’s historic attractions are within walking distance and the hotel has a great rooftop pool to cool down in.
