I’m a frequent flyer who’s travelled on 373 flights in just one year – here’s the easiest way to get free stuff onboard

A FREQUENT flyer has revealed the easiest way to get free goodies onboard a long-haul flight.

Tom Stuker bought a lifetime pass with United Airlines in 1990 for £227k, and has since been jetting around the world nonstop.

Now the flying aficionado has shared his inside tips on how to make the most out of your flights, and bag some goodies.

Tom has 23million miles under his belt – and flew on a whopping 373 flights in 2019 alone.

His first recommendation is to pretend you know the flight attendant as it may land you with “all kinds of free stuff”.

He told : “I always say, ‘I remember you! You gave us such great service last time. I wanted to thank you again’.”

This butters up the senior staff member, and can help you nab free goodies from their in-flight trolley.

If you’re hoping for a better seat, make sure to check the seat map on your phone and nab your preferred one if it’s empty.

The travel expert also says checked baggage is never necessary: “Always under-pack. Every town has laundromats. And stores.”

And lastly, be a courteous flyer – Tom revealed his biggest pet peeve while flying is when people use their phones without headphones.

The cheeky flyer said: “Whenever somebody takes a long business call on speaker, I always say, ‘Hey, next time you’re going to have all of us to your business meeting, bring doughnuts’.”

Tom flew on 373 flights in 2019 alone – which costs around 1.46million reward miles.

He claims his secret to getting through the long-haul flights is an Ambien and a strategic power nap.

Once arriving at the destination, Stuker reveals he takes a three-hour power nap to combat jet lag.

Some of his most notable miles include flying to Australia more than 350 times. It was here where his jet-setting devotion began.

He said: “I fell in love with the country… I’ve been back over 350 times since.”

His frequent flyer status has unlocked great perks – he has his own check-in station, a back door to the front of the security line and access to amazing airport lounges.

And his favourite part of flying frequently? The lobster mac and cheese on the United Flights.
