I tested the £4 moisturiser mums love for avoiding mosquito bites on holiday & was stunned by the results
AFTER every holiday, I'm always guaranteed to come back home with at least one souvenir - a series of gruesome mosquito bites.
From staycations in the UK to trips abroad, I'm the unfortunate person who ends up with countless itchy red dots all over my arms and legs.
And as someone who's actually allergic to mozzies, my bites sometimes become infected and swell - only adding to the misery.

I was even prescribed a course of medication by a dermatologist, but even that didn't seem to do the trick.

When I arrived at my accommodation in Italy, I sprayed several pumps of the repellent into my hands and massaged it onto my arms and legs.
I applied the moisturising spray first thing in the morning after I'd slathered on my suncream.
Throughout the day, I topped up the spray at regular intervals and made sure to give my legs and ankles plenty of attention too.
After my first day in Italy, I didn't have a single mosquito bite.

I shared the spray with my eight friends who I was on holiday with too, and it's safe to say it went down a storm.
We used every drop from both of my travel-sized bottles during our week-long holiday.
After seven days in Italy, I had just three bites on my right leg, which I deemed a success.
