Popular UK dinosaur attraction to reopen in 2024 – with brand new soft play area and Jurassic experience
A DINOSAUR attraction in the UK that was forced to close during the pandemic is set to reopen next year - with some exciting new additions.
Seaton Jurassic, which opened in 2016, was run by Devon Wildlife Trust, with dinosaur-themed events and garden trails.
It was set up to celebrate the 95 mile Jurassic Coast and it's history.
Welcoming more than 250,000 visitors, the £4million attraction was forced to close in 2021 due to financial problems.
However, there are now plans to reopen the resort, renaming it the Jurassic Discovery Centre.
The reopening is following the sale of the attraction to Seaton Tramway.

When the sale is completed, it hopes to reopen again by 2024 in time for the summer season, with some new features inside.
This includes a dinosaur themed softplay as well as an "an experience that will give visitors a snapshot of life 100 million years ago" using exhibits from the Natural History Museum.
Jenny Nunn, CEO of Seaton Tramway said: "The Jurassic Discovery will also accommodate a Dino themed soft play area as well as a visitor experience that will give visitors a snapshot of life 100 million years ago picking up the global story of the dinosaurs and why they became extinct with a mix of modern technology and animatronic exhibits from the Natural History Museum.
"It will also offer the chance to reflect on earth’s timeline and the issues we face today whilst highlighting the Jurassic Coast with a free to view area pointing to fun things to explore at our local Jurassic coastal centres.
"With Seaton Tramway as the new owners, we will build on our success as a top visitor attraction expanding on our existing offer with community and educational projects alongside our new initiatives for the exciting, new, and fun vision we have for Jurassic Discovery.”

Someone else agred: "This is a great little place.
