STAYCATIONS can only get better when waterparks are involved.
Luckily, many UK spots have on-site waterparks and huge pools, so we've rounded up the seven top-rated ones to visit.
The parks are dotted across the country, from Scotland and Yorkshire to Wales and Suffolk.
Here's our pick of the best-rated holiday parks with waterparks and the best deals to get you there:
1. Seashore, Great Yarmouth
The Seashore holiday park is part of Haven's holiday portfolio and is just by Norfolk's beach. It is known for its 'excellent' amenities.
The one indoor pool area offers a range of water activities, from casual splashing to serious swimming sessions.
A smaller pool is also available for younger kids to play in.
The real fun is at 'The Shore' waterpark, though — with two 11-meter-high tyre flumes towering over the entire area, Tidal Twist and Coastal Cyclone.
You can even capture the action on your way down Coastal Cyclone with the onsite 'Activity Cam' for extra fun.
There is also a giant tipping bucket, an aqua play area and a training place for kayaking excursions.

2. Craig Tara, Scotland
The Splashaway Bay at Craig Tara is Scotland's biggest indoor waterpark, and it features two water flumes, a giant tipping bucket, a tots' pool and water features.
One of the flumes has neon lights and three crystal-clear sections, so you can wave to your family while travelling down.
But it doesn't end there. The other interactive flume allows you to time your ride and try to beat the fastest time of the day.
Although some activities are included, you could also add others for an additional cost.
The Haven's holiday park also features an adventure village, crazy golf and a NERF training camp - described as a mixture of paintball and basketball.
There are even roller discos, slime-creation workshops and baby sensory rooms.

3. Hafan Y Môr, North Wales
As with Craig Tara, this is called 'Splashway Bay'. The indoor pool area at Hafan Y Môr features a lazy river, a multi-lane waterslide, tipping buckets and separate swimming lanes.
There is also a wave machine and many water features. Little ones also have their area here, with a tots' pool and slide.
The Adventure Village at Haven's Hafan Y Môr features 4x4 off-roaders, segways, pedalos and more.
Kids could even experience an adrenaline rush by free-falling onto a giant airbag in 'The Jump'.
The park should also get a new 'giant' inflatable arena with an obstacle course this summer.

4. Seton Sands, Scotland
Making it the second park in Scotland, Haven's Seton Sands has a stunning view of the Firth of Forth, the North Sea's entrance to Edinburgh.
Here, there are two heated indoor swimming pools with a multi-lane slide.
A paddling pool also connects to the main swimming area, which is great for kids.
Thanks to its heated and indoor pools, this park is a great destination to visit all year round.
As with all the other Haven parks, there are plenty of things to do along the water activities.
There is a gold course, archery coaching sessions, arts and crafts workshops, bike hires and more.
The park also has a new climbing wall, so families can test their bravery by climbing up.
- - from £5pp a night
5. Primrose Valley, North Yorkshire
The 'Adventure Pool' at Primrose Valley is the main attraction and a 'constant hit' that makes guests return to Yorkshire's Haven Park.
The outdoor waterpark features multi-lane waterslides, water features, a paddling pool and a SplashZone.
The SplashZone has giant cannons for water fights and a dry area for adults.
The outdoor area also gets heated when the weather is touch and go temperature-wise, so you can enjoy it even during chillier days.
To make it even better, there's also a Lakehouse indoor pool with a waterslide for when the weather isn't good.
Primrose Valley is also set to open the first-ever Wetherspoons this spring.
The 'first and only holiday park operator' to launch a Wetherspoons will have 'all the hallmarks of the beloved' pub with 250 seats and menu options.
- - from £4pp a night
6. Trecco Bay, Wales
Elsewhere in Wales, Trecco Bay is a holiday park on a Blue Flag beach, making it ideal for those looking to enjoy a waterpark and sunbathe.
The 'Splashland' at Parkdean Resorts features a giant swimming pool with water chutes, waterslides, and a pirate ship attraction for children.
Plus, in the summer, there's even an outdoor wet zone with shoots and water guns.
The park also has a high ropes course, an 'Arts & Crafts Den' and a climbing wall.
On top of that, there is a 'Next Level Gaming Arena' with the latest consoles and games to keep teenagers entertained.

7. Broadland Sands, Suffolk
Park Holidays' Broadland Sands holiday park in Suffolk also features an indoor pool with a 145-foot flume and paddling pool.
To make it even better, there's a nearby beach where you can sunbathe or head on seaside walks.
If you'd rather stay on-site, there's plenty to keep everyone entertained at the park.
From a dinosaur-themed golf course to a game zone and live shows, little ones will be spoilt for choice.
There are also plenty of options for adults to have fun: a sports bar and lounge, a restaurant, a takeaway, live shows and a tennis court.
- - from £12pp a night
For more family-friendly holidays, Haven launched Christmas-themed breaks with festive activities and cheap stays from £9pp a night.
We've also found UK breaks at some of Brits’ favourite holiday parks from £3pp a night this autumn.
