‘World’s most immersive experience’ to open two new UK sites after huge success
ONE interactive attraction is taking the UK by storm, and it even has a brand-new immersive experience featuring a national treasure.
The Otherworld, which first opened in London in 2019, calls itself the "world's most immersive experience".
The award-winning attraction has been described as the "ultimate interactive gaming experience" where punters feel like they're part of an immersive world.
Visitors are asked to step into a multi-sensory Immersion Pod, where they'll be given virtual reality hardware, and experience other multi-sensory 4D tech, which aims to give users an unforgettable experience.
There are several different virtual reality experiences for visitors to choose from, including The Island, which has more than 16 games and experiences.
But the attraction's latest immersive offering is a brand-new experience centred around beloved TV presenter and wildlife expert, David Attenborough.

The new experience, which is called Immersive Anthology, invites users to step into a trio of short 3D films David Attenborough made for Sky.
Three David Attenborough documentaries (Kingdom of Plants, Micro Monsters and Conquest of the Skies) have been combined into this immersive experience.
Visitors will be able to get up close and personal with plants, insects, birds as well as other animals during the 70-minute immersive experience.
Other facilities include a cocktail bar and a lounge area where visitors can relax and review their virtual reality experiences.

Entry tickets to Immersive Anthology start from £25 per person.
Otherworld has three sites across the UK with two in London in Hackney and Victoria as well as another location in Bennet Hill, Birmingham.
It is now set to open other venues in Manchester and Edinburgh as well as a site in Dublin following its huge success.
Since it opened, the immersive experience has received positive reviews on TripAdvisor.
One person wrote: "We had the most amazing time on our first visit to Otherworld."
A second person said: "I have been to Otherworld several times, and it has been a pleasure every single time.
"The games are great and the staff are helpful and recommend great games to play."
Someone else said: "An amazing experience, it was 10/10, and would do it again!"
Celebrities like singer Adele and TV presenter Jonathan Ross as well as rappers Skepta and KSI have also visited the attraction.
There are plenty of other immersive experiences taking place across the UK too, including The Outernet.
Despite only opening in November 2022, the new experience has become London's most-visited tourist attraction.
Located just a mere one-minute walk from Tottenham Court Road tube station, is a set of buildings with interactive, floor-to-ceiling screens.
At the heart of it is the complex is the Now Building, where visitors will find huge screens displaying interactive images and atmospheric surround sound.
