BIG TIPPER

Give us your best tip for an underrated place to visit in Britain – you could win a £100 Amazon voucher

We want to hear about all the lesser-known gems around our island

BRITAIN is a melting pot of culture, history, great coastline, quaint villages and world-class cities.

More than 37 million tourists visited the United Kingdom for all of the above last year.

Then add to that all of us Brits who love a staycation, whether that's a caravan holiday, camping in the countryside or a jam-packed city break.

But while we all know the big names, like Cornwall's Kynance Cove, the chocolate-box cottages of Castle Combe or the magic of Stonehenge, we're on a hunt for Britain's most underrated places to visit.

Whether it's a great attraction, village, beach or town - we want to hear about all the lesser-known gems around our great island that Sun readers really rate.

We' d like to know exactly why you think it's so great in the form below, and the best answer at the end of the week will win a £100 voucher to spend on Amazon.

So don't hold back! But do please keep your tip to about 100 words max. Feel free to enter multiple suggestions.

A good example of a winning calibre tip would be:

"Bedgebury National Pinetum in Kent is only an hour's drive from the capital, but never feels packed with tourists. It's the most complete collection of conifers in the world and the trees have been spaced perfectly so you can always find a spot of dappled sunlight. There are little hidden spots of grass everywhere for relaxing in privacy, and a beautiful lake in the middle. It also has excellent playgrounds for the kids. Just down the road is Bewl Water and The Bull Inn at the Three Legged Cross, which is a perfect example of a rural English pub. "
