Today (Friday, March 22, 2024), the adventure specialists opened their seventh Zip World site in the UK.

Located in the Welsh village of Dolgarrog, Zip World Conwy is an indoor adventure hub with a Ninja assault course, a stunt jump zone and extreme slides.

On the Ninja assault course, visitors will be able to navigate obstacles like monkey bars, cargo nets and swinging ropes.

A statement on the : “You’ll find yourself tackling various obstacles such as ropes, monkey bars, balance beams – think soft play but for big kids and adults!

“At Adrenaline Indoors you’ll also find the extreme slides – a selection of drop slides that are sure to get your heart racing as you fly through the air and land on the inflatable bouncy pad.”

There are also multi-level high-rise stunt jumps, cargo nets and parkour floor trails.

Another activity is Elevation Indoors – an indoor high ropes course where customers can move across a series of high ropes all while taking in the action below.

The indoor adventure park is also home to a series of extreme slides where riders will be asked to climb into a potato sack before heading down onto a slide.

The drop slides are said to send customers “flying through the air onto the inflatable pad below”.

Adults and children can swap a traditional climbing wall for Altitude Climber – a colourful climbing wall that’s swapped traditional climbing holds for fun bubbles and waves.

Climbers will be clipped into our auto-belay system, which safely lower customers back to the ground.

There’s also a giant soft play zone where children and toddlers can blow off some steam.

Parents can watch their kids play in the cafe next door.

While the soft play area has been designed for kid, Zip World has described the entire indoor facility as a “new soft play for adults” on their Instagram.

Despite being an indoor facility, Zip World Conwy does have an outdoor attraction called Adrenaline Drop.

Attached to an auto-belay system, holidaymakers will be asked to step off a 40ft ledge.

Holidaymakers who don’t want the adventure to end can book to stay overnight in one of the camping pods.

The camping pods come with a outdoor decking, heating and power sockets

Entry tickets to Zip World Conwy cost £20 per person.

There are six other Zip World locations across the UK, including Penrhyn Quarry in Wales, which is home to the UK’s first zipline rollercoaster can be found.

The Aero Explorer ride opened last year and offers thrill-seekers a “high-speed journey across the quarry” like no other.

An overhead track is connected to a harness on the rider, which enables them to glide around as if they’re on a rollercoaster.

The track is found high above the quarry, offering views of the landscape as people fly around connected to the circuit above.

Riders move at speeds of up to 30mph while zipping through the 400m track, which has three loops as well as plenty of other twists and turns

There are also several rides and attractions opening at the UK this year.

Hyperia

The fastest and tallest rollercoaster in the UK is set to launch at Thorpe Park later this year.

The final pieces of track have been fitted and work is now being done to get the ride into working order to thrill visitors to the theme park.

Once up and running, it will be a record breaking coaster for the theme park.

Minifigure Speedway

Legoland Windsor is set to launch its new duelling rollercoaster in which riders will join teams and race against one another.

Images of the ride’s construction emerged at the end of last year, with the new attraction being built where the former Raft Racers ride was before it closed in 2022.

Five new water attractions opening in the UK next year

  1. Therme Manchester will have 25 swimming pools, 25 water slides and an indoor beach.
