Europe’s largest indoor water park that’s 32C all year round reveals new ‘island’ attraction opening this year
There are 18 swimming pools and 35 slides inside
THE largest indoor water park in Europe has revealed plans for a brand new attraction.
Suntago Water World first opened in 2020, becoming the largest of it’s kind in Europe after usurping Tropical Islands in Germany.
And the water park has announced it’s new Crocodile Island land, set to be a family-friendly area.
First announced back in 2022, the land has been given the go-ahead as part of Suntago’s huge development plans.
The water park has teamed up with Creative Studio Berlin who will create stories for the new ‘mascots’ of the land, Jay, Maggy and Otto.
The land will have four areas, reports – the Boat, the Beach, the Rainforest, and the Ruins.
Kids will be able to play games, find surprises as well as make the most of the climbing structures.
Park of Poland CEO Idan Greidinger said : “We reserved an 800sqm space inside our water park which will now be transformed.
“This new zone will be for the entire family.”
An official opening date is yet to be confirmed, but Laura Marakowits, executive producer for the project, said they were ready for an opening “later this year”.
Until the land opens, there is enough to do at the water park which is already open for the season.
Set across 75,000sqm, there are three zones to explore – Jamango, Relax Suntago, and Saunaria.
Across the zones are 18 swimming pools, along with 35 water slides.
Jamango is for families with young children, themed around a water jungle that has palm trees and sunbeds.
This is where the water slides are found, as well as an 130m lazy river and baby pools.
Relax Suntago is for adults only, with guests having to be 16 or over.
Inside the land are hot tubs, thermal pools and even Sulphur pools and brine pools.
And in Saunaria, there are 15 saunas and steam rooms as well as two hot tub pools.
You won’t get hungry as there are five restaurants – serving American, Asian and of course Polish cuisine – and four bars right by the pools along with juice and snack bars.
There is even a wellness spa for massages and treatments.
Don’t worry about getting cold either – it remains around 32C all day.
