Disney teases fans with a glimpse of how work is getting on at new Star Wars-themed land
The video shows the progress being made on a pair of towering AT-AT Walkers
DISNEY has released a new video showing the progress that is being made on their new 14-acre Star Wars themed land.
The theme park is in the middle of construction, with a planned opening date of 2019 at its Disneyland park in Anaheim, California.
As well as Star Wars-themed shops, stores, and restaurants, there will be two main attractions.
One of the rides will take guests aboard the Millennium Falcon, where they get to pilot the famous smuggler’s ship on a secret mission.
The second will feature a battle between the First Order and the Resistance.
The new video showed the progress being made on a pair of towering All-Terrain Armored Transport combat vehicles, better known to Star Wars fans as AT-AT Walkers.
Two enormous steel structures form the base for the AT-ATs, and work has already begun on their shells.
There will also be a Star Wars-themed land at Disney's other American theme park in Orlando, Florida.
