A new book looks at 170 amazing structures built out of timber in the last 1,000 years

Forget bricks and mortar, the best buildings in the world are actually built out of wood.

A new book by the designer William Hall called 'Wood' looks at all of the incredible structures around the world that are made from timber.

From, a six-storey bamboo home in Bali to a Norwegian church built entirely from pine, the coffee table book covers 170 amazing structures that have been built over the last 1,000 years.
