A SPANISH island that's been hailed the country's 'New Ibiza' is set to be huge with Brits in 2025.
While its Balearic sisters Majorca and Ibiza are already well-known among Brits, Menorca looks like it's about to get its moment in the spotlight.
Often thought to be one of the least popular islands in the Balearics, holiday comparison website TravelSupermarket has seen a surge in interest for holidays to Menorca.
analysed holiday searches between January 1 to January 10, comparing the data to the same time as last year to find emerging trending holiday destinations for 2025.
According to the research, holiday searches for Menorca rose 341 per cent, outpacing both Majorca and Ibiza.
Chris Webber, Head of Holidays and Deals at TravelSupermarket, said: "Our data shows that families are particularly drawn to Menorca, with 79% of departures concentrated in May, July, August, and October.

Holidays to the quieter Balearic island are set to become more accessible, with low-cost carrier easyJet launching a year-round route.
The airline's route from London Gatwick to Menorca Airport has been extended into the winter, providing an additional 16,000 seats to the Med island.

Affordable package breaks and low-cost flight routes aren't the only draw for Brit holidaymakers.
Head of Editorial at TravelSupermarket, Steph Marinkovic, adding: "Menorca's natural attractions, including the 320km Cami de Cavalls coastal path and the stunning Parc of S'Albufera des Grau, are drawing visitors seeking authentic experiences away from the busier Balearic islands."
Even in the winter, temperatures in Menorca rarely drop below 14C, making it an ideal location for Brit holidaymakers.
Declared a biosphere reserve by UNESCO, there are four main towns on the island, including Ciutadella, Binibeca Vell, Son Bou and Fornells.
Thanks to its distinct white-washed houses, which look like buildings on Santorini, Binibeca Vell attracts tourists on the hunt for the perfect holiday snap throughout the year.
Constructed back in the 1960s, the former fishing village is home to roughly 1,000 residents.
Menorca isn't short of beaches, with several spots to choose from, including Cala Galdana, Cala Mitjana, Cala Turqueta, Cala Pregonda, Cala Macarella, Cala Macarelleta and Playa de Cavalleria.
Other attractions on the island include Santa Maria Cathedral and El Toro, the island's highest mountain.
In recent years, holidaymakers have started comparing Menorca to Ibiza.
Irish singer Roísín Murphy visited the island with her mum and said she fell in love with it, calling it a "cross between Ibiza and Ireland".
In an article in the , a hotel owner described Menorca as "super cool" and "definitely happening".
Others have said it was much less expensive than Ibiza, becoming much trendier.
Journalist Stacey Duguid, who bought a home in Ciutadella on the West coast of the island, found Menorca to be "like the old, magical Ibiza, but without the clubs".

What is a holiday to Menorca like?
SENIOR news reporter Sarah Grealish recently visited Menorca - here's what they said.
Mallorca and Ibiza may be famous for their partying — but from this bar, carved into the cliffside under the orange glow of the sunset, it’s easy to see why Menorca is the real crown jewel of the Balearic Islands.
While its sisters are known for fun, this island boasts beautiful beaches, sunsets to die for and restaurants where you’ll eat like a king.
Just half the size of the Isle of Wight, it could easily claim the title of Spain’s most laidback island with many parts left wild and untouched.
And if you do still fancy your party fix, the cliff-side Cova d’en Xoroi bar transforms into a nightclub for cave clubbers in high summer.
Meanwhile, this holiday island is "just like Hawaii" and is only a short flight from the UK.
This little-known holiday island is "as good as Ibiza" and only a few hours away.
