Shocked hotel guest finds his air con unit is shared with a neighbour via a HOLE in the wall
The hotel owners were using just one air con unit to cool both rooms, despite the solid wall in between
IMAGES of a hotel air conditioning unit have gone viral, after a guest was shocked to find he would be sharing his cooling mechanism with the room next to him.
Titi Japantour had booked a bungalow at a resort in the Thai province of Nakorn Nayok, where the two guest rooms shared an adjoining wall.
But he was shocked to spot a giant cutout in the corner of the room for the shared air con.
The hotel owners had clearly taken the meaning of dual climate control to another level, using the one unit to cool both rooms, despite the solid wall in between.
Titi couldn't resist posting the pictures to his social media accounts, and the images have since gone viral.
Despite the hilarity of the situation, Titi admitted the system actually worked surprisingly well in cooling both rooms.
He said: "While my friends get to travel to Europe, Russia and England, I'm here."
Titi then added that he was surprised no previous guests had thought to share pictures of the bizarre invention online before him.
He said: "I can't be the only who witnessed this. Looks like no one is getting laid tonight."
The unit was allegedly locked on one setting, and did not come with a remote.
Titi added that while he had posted the images for fun, he did not wish to shame the resort in any way.
