THIS is how to get kicked off a flight and it’s not as hard as you’d think
One of the main reasons that people are kicked off flights is actually because they look like they're about to be sick
THERE are several things that you can do to be removed from a flight – and not all are about behaving badly.
These are the reasons that a flight attendant could ask you to leave a flight.
Looking like you might vomit
It turns out that showing signs you may vomit – not something you’d make a choice to do – is one of the top reasons you could be kicked off a plane.
Annette Long, a flight attendant with 30 years of experience told : “[Today] there's zero tolerance for an obviously sick person — for example, someone who is vomiting — boarding a plane.”
A woman was recently kicked off a flight on Spirit Airlines because her six-month-old baby was sick.
Drunk behaviour
There’s no surprises here – if you’re being drunk and disorderly you may not make it onto the flight in the first place.
And it’s a common occurrence with the prevalence of the airport Wetherspoons – and lengthy waits for flights when it’s all too easy to knock back a few too many.
Annette said: "If you were to come on the plane drunk — if the agent missed it and we noticed it before we left — you'd be escorted off the plane.
"Because we don't need you to get up to 35,000 feet and get crazy on us. Most of the time people don't do that.
“But, as a flight attendant, you have to do things with an abundance of caution."
Being rude to other passengers
A woman was recently kicked off a Delta Airlines flight after throwing a tantrum – because she was sat next to a mother and child.
Video of the drama was shared on social media by Marissa Rundell who was on the flight to Syracuse, New York, on February 6.
The 19-year-old – who was travelling with her eight-month-old son Mason – said the woman started shouting and swearing after boarding the aircraft last.
The woman can be seen arguing with a stewardess after being asked to leave
Marissa claims she asked the irate passenger to mind her language around her son, but she ignored her.
When she asked again, the mum claims the woman told her to “shut the f*** up and shove it”.
A stewardess then came over to try and calm the situation, at which point the passenger started to complain about having to sit next to a “crying baby”.
Arguing with staff
Instagram fitness model Jen Selter was booted off an American Airlines plane back in January after she bickered with staff.
A flight attendant ordered the 24-year-old model to sit down, and the two began bickering, according to TMZ.

The flight attendant asked her if she wanted to be removed from the aircraft, and the model sarcastically snapped, “Yes!” — so the attendant called the pilot, the site said.
Cops then yanked Selter, her sister and another passenger off the plane.
A video shows a passenger shouting, “You’re harassing her!” as the pilot and flight attendant speak to Selter, according to TMZ.
