CBeebies Land at Alton Towers introduces new Bing daily live show to the theme park in time for summer season

Bing and Flop will appear in Big Fun Show Time, an area dedicated to picnics and entertainment for families

KIDS are going to be very happy with the newest addition to Alton Towers.

That’s because much-loved stars Bing and Flop are getting their own daily live show at CBeebies Land at the park from May 26.

Kids will be able to see Bing’s Picnic, a new live show starring Bing and Flop within Big Fun Show Time, an entertainment and picnic space in the theme park.

The show will see them have a picnic, make friends and play games.

Performances will happen twice a day, at 1.15pm and 3.15pm.

Big Fun Show Time already has shows by kids’ favourites Hey Duggee and the Funsters.

Chris Carter, Head of Entertainments at Alton Towers Resort, said: “We are incredibly excited to have Bing and Flop join their CBeebies co-stars.

“Bing has been a resident at the CBeebies Land Hotel since last summer and has been a huge hit with our guests.

“Now Bing and Flop will be taking centre stage with his own live show in Big Fun Show Time each day for Bingsters and their families to enjoy.

“It’s yet another fantastic addition to CBeebies Land as it continues to dazzle and delight young families as they meet and interact with some of CBeebies’ biggest stars.”

The park also has a CBeebies Land Hotel, designed especially for little ones.

It has 76 rooms themed around the likes of Postman Pat, In the Night Garden and the Octonauts.

Sun Online Travel previously reported on the new wooden Wicker Man rollercoaster at Alton Towers - and tested it out with a Go Pro headset on.
