THE bank holiday is almost upon the UK, and with it comes a lot of entertaining the kids.

Luckily, there’s tons on up and down the country that will entertain the whole family.

From Tudor re-enactments to kid-friendly music festivals and exhibitions, here’s how to keep the whole family happy this August bank holiday.

Great Brick Adventure, Liverpool

Taking place on August 25 to 27, kids will find three different interactive zones that will showcase the best LEGO models in the world.

From a safari zone with a life-size LEGO version of an elephant to a mythical beasts world with modes of Cyclops and Hercules, the scale is astounding.

You can also take place in a speed build challenge and take LEGO-themed selfies.

Kids and adults who are obsessed with diggers will go crazy for Diggerland, which you can find at four different UK locations as well as Strood - Castleford, Cullompton and Durham.

You'll get the chance to live out your Bob the Builder dreams by digging and playing on real JCBs and excavators.

For the mums and dads who still dream of pitching up a tent and dancing in a field with a cider in hand, this festival may suit as it's totally kid-friendly.

The likes of Feeder, The Coral, Craig Charles, Artful Dodger and Melanie C are performing.

There's also family entertainment and craft workshops, as well as a rave for kids called Raver Tots.

There's also drinks for parents and live music on the event's Dairy Stage.

Kids can also make their own teddy in the Teddy Parlour, which can be bought for £10.

Margate's Dreamland is hosting Peppa Pig storytime sessions led by a narrator - and it's worth bringing a camera, as Peppa herself may turn up.

Adults and kids will love hanging out in Dreamland itself afterwards.

Try out rides like the Pinball X is based on the Magic Mouse which was at the park in 2017 and is a rollercoaster with steep drops and coaches that spin and whirl from side to side.

The Big Feastival

The Big Feastival 2018, a feel-good festival focused on food and music, has a string of musical performers taking to the stage during the course of the weekend.

Stars such as Tom Odell and Paloma Faith are among the confirmed performers, and there's tons of food on offer from as it's set on a farm.

The festival runs from August 24-26, 2018 and tickets are still available at a range of different prices from .

All children must have a valid entry ticket to enter the event.

12 and under tickets must be booked at the time of adult purchase, while free child day tickets are limited to two per adult.

Milky Way Adventure Park, Higher Clovelly

Kids who are obsessed with space will love this Devon-based park with specially-themed rides like the Cosmic Typhoon rollercoaster and Time Warp death slide.

There's a new ride for 2018 called the Gravity Rider, which is a 30 foot tall doughnut slide, as well as the Clone Zone - where you'll get to meet "aliens".
