Stunning new pictures of Yorkshire reveal why it earned the nickname ‘God’s own country’

Local photographer Dave Zdanowicz has captured the beauty of his home county in a book called More Yorkshire in Photographs

YORKSHIRE is the most Instagrammed county in the UK, so it;s hardly surprising that the area's natural beauty has inspired scores of coffee table photography books.

While there is beautiful countryside on your doorstep, Yorkshire also has plenty of character properties that featured in popular films and TV shows. These include Carlton Towers, a stately home in Yorkshire used in the ITV drama Victoria, and Goathland Station, which was featured in the Harry Potter films as Hogsmeade Station.
