From Egypt to Turkey and Montenegro, we reveal cheaper Mediterranean resorts for your next summer holiday amid Brexit panic

With Brexit uncertainty causing a slide in Sterling against the Euro, British travellers have started looking to the eastern Mediterranean countries for value next summer.

Tour operators including Thomas Cook and TUI as well as online travel agents On The Beach and LoveHolidays are reporting huge rises in interest in beach breaks to Turkey. ­

Montenegro, Bulgaria and other Eastern Med destinations are also becoming more popular. So can you get the same quality for less by heading eastwards?

We dig out six alternatives to traditional Greek or Spanish destinations for a much cheaper price.

Swap Nissi Bay, Cyrpus for Oludeniz, Turkey

FAMILY-friendly Majorca has been a hit with the kids for decades but the Egyptian resort of Hurghada, above, is just as fun for little ones.
