FORMER flight attendant Shaun Kathleen is best known for her infamous Instagram account Passenger Shaming, which reveals the worst behaviours of plane passengers.
The videos and photos on the account have racked up hundreds of thousands of views with bare feet, dirty nappies and in-flight pedicures just some of the most disgusting incidents.
But during a recent interview with Australian breakfast show Sunrise, she revealed one of the worst things she has ever seen a passenger do during her career.
Shaun, who was also a former police officer and paramedic, said: "The worst thing that I've personally seen while working as a flight attendant was probably a gentleman who caught his hair on fire, while he was in the lavatory during a flight, while smoking crack cocaine."
The main anchors on the show expressed their shock, commenting: "Oh my goodness, wow."
Shaun continued to explain why she thinks passengers act so badly onboard.
She said: "There is a sense of entitlement. People think that because they have spent X amount of money on a flight, that entitles them to treat the aircraft as they wish.
"Unfortunately the aircraft is not your living room and you're on public transportation. You're not on a private jet."
Her Instagram account has more than 718,000 followers, and has been featured in Rolling Stones magazine and on the Ellen DeGeneres show.
Sun Online Travel recently revealed some of the bizarre behaviours seen on flights, as well as some of the disgusting things that flyers have seen other passengers do.
Examples included a young woman putting her hair over the back of the seat or a man's dirty feet on the arm rest
A rather common yet disgusting occurrence is passengers failing to use the toilet.
One image caught a and tissues after someone decided against the lavatory.
Another grotesque picture saw a that was tied up.
A plastic bottle full of urine was also recently discovered on a flight, Sun Online Travel reported.
While it isn't clear if the bathroom was broken or not, many felt the passenger should have at least taken it with them.
