You can use Tesco vouchers to get Universal Studios Unlimited Express Passes worth over £150 for free
Right now, a two-park Unlimited Express Pass costs upwards of $99.99 (£77.71) per day, per person plus taxes and you get two free ones with this hack
SAVVY Universal Studios fans have found a way to skip the queues at the two Florida theme parks for free.
And even better - they can take advantage of the rewards from their regular food shop, with one family saving almost £1,000 as a result.
By booking rooms at selected Universal Studios Hotels, guests are entitled to free Express Passes, allowing them to skip the lines.
The Universal Express Pass is a system where guests can access attractions via a special queue with little to no waiting.
Even guests staying for only one night will receive two passes each – one for the day they check in and another for the day they check out.
Right now, costs upwards of $99.99 (£77.71) per day, per person plus taxes - but prices can be much higher depending on what time of the year you visit.
With hugely popular rides such as Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Despicable Me Minion Mayhem and Skull Island: Reign of Kong boasting wait times of over an hour, it’s no wonder families are willing to shell out hundreds to make the most of their time in the parks.
, and all offer free unlimited Express Passes for their guests.
For big families, this can mean huge savings as, for example, Hard Rock Hotel allows up to five people to stay in one room.
A room costs around $244 (£190) per night - but the hotel offers all five guests two Express Passes each for free, which is a saving of over $400.
And shrewd fans have found an even better way to benefit from this trick.
By using , you can book one of the Universal hotels through and save even more as every £5 worth of Tesco vouchers can be converted into £15 to spend at Hotels.com.
You can’t pay for taxes with the Hotels.com voucher from Tesco so most guests leave this to pay when they check in.
Aside from the taxes, you can pay for your Universal stay simply by saving your Tesco points for the vouchers.

Sean Kinlin near Inverness used this trick to stay in the Hard Rock Hotel with his family.
He told Sun Online Travel: “We booked the Hard Rock Hotel for two nights in October 2018.
"We had accumulated roughly £95 in Tesco vouchers and exchanged them for Hotels.com vouchers, giving us £285 to spend.
"Total cost of room was circa £590 so I paid the cash difference. This was for two adults and two kids, giving us accommodation and three full days of unlimited fast passes across both Universal parks.
"This fast pass is roughly £100 per person per day so I guess would have been almost £1,000 for us all for the three days. In my view a no brainer to do what we did.”
He's not alone.
Angela Watson from Hartlepool stayed at Universal’s Royal Pacific to take advantage of the deal.
She told Sun Online Travel: “We booked one night at the Royal Pacific Hotel at Universal Orlando last August and went there from another hotel just for the one night (two adults, two kids) - partly as a treat and to try a new place but also because this is one of three onsite universal hotels that gives you free Express Passes both for the day of check in and check out.
"So for the price of one night, we got Express Passes for all four of us for two days, which saves a lot of money and a lot of time otherwise spent in queues.
"It meant that for those two days, we were less rushed and had more time to go on rides we wanted to.
"We used Tesco Clubcard vouchers to book this as they have a great deal with Hotels.com.
"One night at Royal Pacific at that time was £240, so we used £80 of Tesco vouchers, which we had saved up, and we booked it all online.
"It was really easy, and when you check into the hotel, your room card acts as the express pass in the parks.”
