You can now stay in a Tequila hotel where you can drink all the booze you want – and sleep in a barrel
When guests want to head out for a bite to eat in the restaurant, they will be welcomed into a cave that's almost five metres underground
TEQUILA fans take note - this could be the greatest hotel you've never stayed in.
The Matices Hotel de Barricas in the town of Tequila, Mexico offers visitors the chance to stay in a giant barrel next to a Tequila distillery.
Rooms also include a mini bar, and when guests want to grab a bite they will be ushered into a restaurant cave almost five metres underground.
The town where the hotel is located, and which lends its name to your favourite shot, is the only place in the world officially allowed to produce the drink.
It is situated in an agave (the plant used to make the alcohol) field and they offer tours of the distillery, tastings and the chance to design your own tequila bottle.
It takes around ten minutes to walk into the main town while Guadalajara, known as the Mexican Silicon Valley, is just a 45-minute drive.
And most importantly, it remains fairly reasonably priced.
Prices start from around £150-a-night and reviews online suggest it could be the best money you've ever spent.
