The most difficult Disney World restaurant to visit where you could wait up to a YEAR to get a reservation – but it’s worth the wait

A RESTAURANT at Disney World is so popular, it can take guests up to a year to get a reservation to visit.

However, as the only five-star restaurant in the theme park, it is definitely worth the wait.

Called , named after Queen Elizabeth and her husband Prince Albert, it is currently one of the best restaurants in Florida, .

Having opened in 1988, it may come as no surprise that it is difficult to get reservations.

Found in Disney World's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, guests who want to sit at the Chef's table to watch the kitchen prepare the meals will struggle the most as it is the hardest to book.

Christoper Lucas, author of Top Disney: 100 Top Ten Lists of the Best of Disney, from the Man to the Mouse and Beyond, guests will need to call up to a year in advance.

The Chef's table can only be booked over the phone for ten guests at a time.

Thankfully, other tables in the restaurant are slightly easier to book, he advised, with bookings between three and six months.

The restaurant doesn't come cheap - the 11-course menu costs from $235 (£185) per person.

However, it has received rave reviews on TripAdvisor with many saying it is worth the experience.

Before dining, guests are contacted to be able to determine any food preferences and intolerance before eating there.

The courses can vary, although often include lobster, caviar and Kobe beef, unless choosing the vegetarian menu.

Guests also cannot just turn up - men must wear dinner jackets and dress shoes, while women must wear smart dresses or suits also. Children must be over the age of 10 to enter.

While Disney World is open to any guest, Victoria & Albert's isn't the only luxury area at the theme park.

There is one restaurant that is impossible unless explicitly invited in Disney World called Club 33.

If not invited, you can instead pay between £20,000 and £80,000 to join with another £10,000 to £24,000 every year.

Previous guests include Elton John, Elizabeth Taylor and Tom Hanks.

There is also the 21 Royal suite, the most luxurious in Disneyland, which costs $15,000 (£11,400) to rent for the night.
