You can stay in a wine barrel hotel in Germany with bottles of booze delivered to your door

There are six 'rooms' on offer at - which translates to 'Sleeping in the Wine Barrel' in German.

Each one has two barrels for couples to share - one with a bed, and another with an eco-toilet and living area.

The 8,000 litre barrels can even be stayed in during the winter as they are heated throughout the year.

For the summer months, a stone patio with a table and chairs overlook the valley, with guests able to enjoy their breakfast with a view.

A welcome bottle of wine is given to all guests, along with breads and snacks for dinner.

Breakfast also arrives on the doorstep in the morning, with pastries, meats and cheeses delivered by the family who run the hotel.

Fans of the wine can even buy it from the vineyard online to enjoy back in the UK.
