ONE of the best theme parks in the world has now opened a second site in Spain.
France's famous Puy du Fou has launched Puy du Fou España, with four huge shows scheduled every day.
With more than two million visitors a year, Puy du Fou is the second most popular theme park in France after Disneyland Paris - despite not having any rides.
Instead, the park, which first opened in 1978, features historical re-enactments including Viking ship battles and kings fighting over lands - all set in the Middle Ages.
Its new park in Spain opened last week - although at present, guests can only visit on Fridays and Saturdays.
They will be able to watch the El Sueno de Toledo performance, which is based on 1,500 years of Spanish history.
The rest of the park will open in 2021 with more shows to come.
Spread across 30 hectares, there will be four shows every day, set in different areas of the park themed on castles and colosseums.
There will also be a huge medieval village with shops and restaurants, along with two other villages to explore.
The park is just an hour's drive from Madrid, on the outskirts of Toledo city.
Puy du Fou in France has received five stars on TripAdvisor from over 14,000 reviews.
It was voted the Best Theme Park in Europe as well as fifth Best Theme Park in the World by TripAdvisor this year.
Families watching the shows, and that guests need more than one day to see the whole park.
