Incredible moment man on a 83mph rollercoaster CATCHES a phone dropped by another thrill-seeker mid-ride
MOST people expect a pretty thrilling experience when they go on a rollercoaster.
But sportsman Samuel Kempf got more than he bargained for when he managed to catch another guest's phone while mid-ride.
Samuel, who was in Europe last month for Fistballing World Championships (a sport that's similar to volleyball), went to Spain's PortAventura theme park with his family last month.
During his visit, he went on the 83mph Shambhala, one of the biggest rollercoasters at the park, where the stunning catch took place.
how the other rider had dropped his phone at the beginning of the ride and he had joked that he would try to catch it.
Samuel explained: "The ride started and I totally forgot about it because I was just in the moment 'cause it was such a good ride and then after the first drop we rose up and I just saw the phone drift across my view so I reached out and managed to catch it."
He added: "I was in Spain at Port Aventura on shambhala ride and saw the person a few rows ahead drop their IPhone X.
"Long story short I caught it. This roller coaster is moving at over 130kms...was once Europe’s tallest and fastest coaster.. only recently beaten."
The catch has stunned the guests who saw the video at the park.
And on YouTube, it's had over 500,000 views in 24 hours.
Earlier this year, a guest on another rollercoaster got the shock of her life when a bird slammed into her face.
Surprisingly, it's not the first time this has happened.
