Who are Googlebox Siddiqui family?

The family are from Derby and are Channel 4's Gogglebox regulars.

Dad Sid appears with his two sons, Baasit and Umar whilst his third son Raza makes occasional appearances.

A true family man, Sid has two daughters and three sons and has been married for almost 40 years.

Baasit is an IT teacher and his pupils are massive fans of the show.

He is also an avid runner and is known for running the London marathon twice whilst live streaming it and raising money for his chosen charities.

Umar is a Biomedical Microbiologist at The Royal Derby Hospital and part-time electronic musician.

Sid worked for the NHS for 37 years before finding new found fame on Gogglebox.

Many people wonder if the Gogglebox stars get paid, well they actually do, each family receives a payment of £1,500, and filming ilming takes place across two shifts, each lasting six hours each week.
