Harriet had previously attempted to murder Malone by whacking him over the head after she found him trying to kill Dawn, but failed to finish him off.
In the wake of Malone’s death, Dawn was desperate to hand herself into the police, but a calm Harriet persuaded her to hide Malone’s body and pretend he’d gone on the run.
But next week’s episodes of Emmerdale will see the guilt finally get to Harriet as she heads off on a religious retreat.
Meanwhile, Will convinces himself he’s seen Malone hanging about the village.
Dawn tries to calm him down but viewers will see him make a suspicious and urgent phone call.
Later, Dawn catches Will collecting a gun from an old mate, and demands to know what he’s up to.
Dawn reminds Will what happened last time he brought a gun into the house.
Elsewhere, Cain notices the church door has been left open and heads to investigate.
Inside, he's shocked to find Harriet crying her eyes out about Malone’s murder.
But will she confess everything to her ex?
Meanwhile, back at Woodbine, disaster strikes when Dawn finally reveals the truth to Will and tells him that she shot and murdered Malone.
Dawn tactically leaves Harriet out of her story, but is shocked when the vicar walks in on their conversation.
Will a guilty Harriet reveal her affair with Malone and involvement in his murder?
If so, might Will report her to the police and save his daughter Dawn?
