Peaky Blinders fans convinced Tommy Shelby will divorce Lizzie – but clash over who he’ll romance next in season 6
PEAKY Blinders fans suspect heatbreak is on the horizon for leading man Tommy Shelby, played by Cillian Murphy.
The fifth season of the acclaimed BBC drama saw Tommy and wife Lizzie Stark (Natasha O'Keeffe) raise daughter Ruby, alongside Tommy's son Charlie, in their plush estate.

While the pair argued consistently about Tommy keeping secrets from Grace and the Shelby's company's shady deadlings creeping into the family home, they remained a united front for the most part.
However, viewers suspect that the relationship will break down in season 6 and took to Reddit with their theories.
Namely they reference the scene in which Tommy told Lizzie that "the way [he] sees it, [he] still pays for it," cruelly referencing her past as a prostitute.
Meanwhile Lizzie made it clear she had no problem with him sleeping with other women, as long as it didn't happen in the family home.
In a thread debating who they could see Tommy ending up with, one fan predicted that activist Jessie Eden (Charlie Murphy) would capture his heart.
“Controversial, but I really think Jessie is the best girl for Tommy," they began.
“She brings out youthful innocence in him, and it’s with her arrival that he starts doing things for the sake of being good, rather than for the sake of purely building up power.
“She reminds him that life can have a cause, and I think that’s a wonderful juxtaposition to the many times we see him contemplate suicide at the end of the last season.”
Others claimed that Tommy would end up single, still haunted by the Ghost of Grace (Annabelle Wallis), claiming she was better suited to him than anyone else.
“The reason Tommy is so attracted to her is because she's like him," they said of his visions.

“She may have 'betrayed' him (she didn't, it was her job) but he did the same to Billy Kimber (Charlie Creed-Miles). He knew she lied to him twice and he still likes her because hey guess what, he lies too," they went on.
“They mirror each other. She cheated on her husband and he cheated on May. I don't see how people even go on about how Grace betrayed Tommy and blah blah blah when he does that to other people too. Just look at Jessie Eden.
“Tommy isn't a saint and he wants someone that understands him, and who better than someone who is just like him?”
However, others claimed that Tommy and Grace were always a toxic combination.

“I don't ship Grace and Thomas AT ALL,” one fan chimed in.
“They didn't have much chemistry and I feel like everyone just forgot how she stabbed him in the back in season one.
“Also, she cheated on her husband to be with Thomas, driving him to commit suicide.
“Grace was honestly my least favourite character and I'm glad they killed her off.”
