Victoria was devastated when she received a phone call revealing the sad news that her grandmother had died back in August 2020.
Annie presided over her family and farm from the soap's very first episode right up until 1994 when actress Sheila retired.
Sheila occasionally returned for guest appearances and was last seen in the village in 2009, with her character Annie attending the funeral of her on-screen son Jack.
Vic last mentioned her grandmother in 2019 when she announced her grandmother was upset Robert had been sentenced to 14 years in prison for the murder of her rapist Lee.
But Victoria returned from the funeral last month with a new lease of life, and told her ex Luke she was ready to give things another go.
