Emmerdale’s Jamie Tate broken as Andrea forces him to sign away rights to daughter Millie to frame Belle Dingle
EMMERDALE'S Jamie Tate has been left broken after he was forced to sign over parental rights to his daughter Mille to estranged wife Andrea.
The scheming vet - who is played by actor Alexander Lincoln in the ITV soap - had blackmailed his wife Andrea into giving him a false alibi for the night he ran over Moira Barton and left her for dead.
But last night Andrea reclaimed the power from him by only agreeing to it if he gave up custody of Millie.
Now Jamie will just have supervised visits with Mille - and he won't see her at all for two months.
That will be cold comfort for Belle, who Jamie is framing for his crime.
Jamie’s estranged wife, and mother of his daughter, Andrea is the only person in the village who can confirm Belle’s story about who is responsible for running over Moira Dingle.
After spending the afternoon at the police station answering questions, Belle urged officers to check with Andrea who she thought would back up her story.
However, after being released and returning home she realised that Andrea had betrayed her.

Upon discovering Andrea had given Jamie a false alibi, Belle protested that she'd now get the blame.
The scorned wife replied: "Well maybe you shouldn't go round sleeping with other people's husbands, should you?"
Smug Jamie was triumphant, convinced he’d finally got the better of Belle.
