The Boys finale leaves fans ‘vomiting’ as Stormfront has limbs blasted off and eye stabbed out
THE Boys wrapped its second season with a blood-drenched finale that left viewers watching through their fingers.
The Amazon Prime superhero series dropped episode 8, What I Know, on Friday and it packed a serious punch - both literally and figuratively.

As Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) and the gang tried to reach Becca's (Shantel VanSanten) son Ryan (Cameron Crovetti) from Homelander's (Anthony Starr) clutches they faced off against the dastardly Stormfront (Aya Cash).
In explosive scenes, Stormfront was clobbered by Starlight (Erin Moriarty), Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) and Queen Maeve (Dominique McElligott), who left her battered and bloody with their collective super strength.
However thanks to her powers of flight Stormfront was able to take to the skies and make an escape, before ambushing Butcher, Becca and Ryan as they fled through the forest.
Becca put up a decent fight, stabbing Stormfront in the eye, but that wasn't enough to stop her as she began choking her to death.
Butcher clobbered her with a crowbar but failed to make so much as a dent in her as she squeezed the life out of his wife.
In the end it was Ryan who intervened, but a terrible price.
Without full control of his powers Ryan ended up catching both Becca and Butcher in his laser vision blast.
Stormfront was left burned to a cripse, with her limbs blown off, her hair sizzled away and her face disfigured.
Meanwhile Becca suffered a fatal wound to her neck, causing her to blood to death in Butcher's arms.
Butcher escaped largely unscathed, but was devastated by the loss of Becca, who he had hoped would enjoy a life away from Vought with Ryan.
Suffice to say the brutal scenes prompted a strong reaction from audiences, many of whom were left nauseos by the gory scenes.

Stormfront's death was shrouded in scandal, coming just after her Nazi past was leaked online in documents spanning 100 years.
Elsewhere in the episode, we learned that anti-superhero campaginer Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit) in fact had powers of her own and was behind the assasinations at the trial of Vought over Compound V.
