The Boys season 3 predictions: Homelander breaks down, Maeve is murdered and Neuman’s powers are exposed
THE Boys season three has a lot to live up to after the success of the first two series and fans are already predicting what might happen to their favourite Supes.
In amongst the possible storylines, fans think main man Homelander will break down, Queen Maeve will be murdered, and Neuman’s powers will be fully exposed to awful effect.

The third season of The Boys was officially given the green light even before the second season was released, with plans for production to begin early next year.
Series creator Eric Kripke said: "We hope to be shooting in early 2021, but that’s up to a microscopic virus."
One fan of the Amazon Prime show is already speculating on what might happen in series three, taking to Reddit to post their thoughts.
The Boys fan user SKTisBAEist, wrote: “So making guesses for season 3, Hughie/Mallory figures it out about Neuman, and she becomes a central/season finale point of conflict.”

At the end of season two it’s revealed that congresswoman Victoria Neuman is actually a Supe and it’s unclear as to whether she’s been acting in the interest of Vought or if she actually has an agenda of her own.
User SKTisBAEist went on to detail that they thought the storyline would come “when the boys basically realize they've been helping Vought – (Keeping Supes in line at the request of Mallory, who had been going after them at the request of Neuman's Supe oversight office).”
Another theory The Boys fan revealed was that they believed Soldierboy has been alive for a long time.
The fan went on: “and [he] probably knows whats up including his nazi heritage. I think the writers will take the angle that Soldierboy was exposed to the horrors and reality of war thanks to Vought and will want to fight back on his own terms, and had been lying low all these years. Vought probably just kills him anyway.”

Another theory is that Homelander will have a “meltdown” after being blackmailed at the end of season two.
SKTisBAEist wrote, “[Homelander] has an actual meltdown and loses it all for season 4 and becomes an enemy of humanity after being pushed too far by Maeve/the video is leaked.”
The video they’re referring to is the footage of Homelander refusing to help the passengers of Flight 37 and leaving them all to crash and die.
Queen Maeve tells him that unless he apologises to Starlight and leaves them all alone, the video will be leaked. However, the Reddit user thinks this will ultimately be the end of Maeve.
They continued: “I honestly don't think Maeve will make it through season 3. She's bitter, tired of all of Vought's lies and Homelander's psychopathy, tired of the horrors she was forced to participate in, and will just punish Homelander to breaking point.”

User SKTisBAEist’s final theory is that after Ryan turns his back on Homelander, he’ll eventually go back to his dad.
They wrote: “A lot of work is going to be put into Ryan parenting wise by people that aren't his mom and dad…Honestly, I think the show will ultimately toe the line that nature doesn't outweigh the nature of Ryan's super powers.
“He'll accidentally fuck up at a critical moment and be left to realize there's nobody he can truly relate to except Homelander, and will rejoin him by the end of season 3.”
